Stop Accepting Checks for All Consular Document Applications

 

 

          Due to the great number of checks that were returned uncashed in the past, and referring to the practice of most other foreign consulates in Houston, the Chinese Consulate in Houston, from January 1st, 2007 will stop accepting checks for all consular document applications. Only cash or money orders can be used.
