Consul General Gao Yanping Attended the 17th CAPST's Annual Meeting On November 14, Consul General Gao Yanping attended the evening banquet for the 17th Annual Meeting of Chinese Association of Professionals in Science and Technology (CAPST) and gave a speech, accompanied by Mr. Chen Heping, Head of Science and Technology Section and Mr. Yan Guohua, Head of Education Section.  Consul General Gao was giving a warm speech Consul General Gao said, it has been 60 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China and 30 years since the establishment of the diplomatic relation between China and the United States of America. Both China and China-US relation have got tremendous achievement. The great success not only created a better living and working environment for overseas Chinese, but also provided more opportunities for them to participate in development of China and cooperation between China and the United States in all fields.

Talking with guests Consul General Gao also praised CAPST for its contribution to uniting overseas Chinese experts and professionals, promoting cooperation between China and the United States in science, technology and education, and providing good service to Chinese communities. Gao wishes CAPST to act successfully as a bridge to promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States, as well as to take part in building China into an innovative country.
