On December 3, Consul General Gao Yanping paid a visit to the former U.S. President Jimmy Carter at the Carter Center.

Consul General Gao acclaimed President Carter for opening a new page in the relationship of Sino_U.S. history by establishing the diplomatic relations between China and the United States 30 years ago.
