On November 24, Consul General Gao Yanping attended the Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Shandong Department of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Great Houston Partnership, accompanied by Mr. Yao Wenliang, head of Economic and Trade Section.

Consul General Gao said, economic and trade cooperation is the important foundation of Sino-US relations because of its great significance to both countries. She pins hope on this MOU to further enhance cooperation between Shandong Province and the city of Houston.

Aiming at a broader commercial cooperation and reciprocation between the two parties, this MOU will undoubtedly boost more business opportunities, better environment for information sharing and a win-win outcome.
