On November 20, Consul General Gao Yanping met with the delegation of Changzhou Municipal Government.

Consul General Gao said that the Chinese Consulate General in Houston dedicated itself to the development of the Sino-U.S. economic relations. She expressed her support to the "going out" strategy of the Chinese enterprises and their commercial activities in the United States. She also endorsed Changzhou's proposal to stage a trade forum in Houston next year and briefed them with the current economic and trade status of the southern states in the U.S. and the city of Houston in specific.
