On October 18, 2009, Chinese Consulate General Gao Yanping accompanied the visiting delegation of the Counselor’s Office of the State Council of China led by Minister Chen Jinyu in San Antonio. Gao attended the meeting between Mayor of San Antonio Julian Castro and Minister Chen Jinyu. Representatives from all walks of life in San Antonio held a welcome reception for the delegation.

Minister Chen introduced the current economic situation in China and the economic and trade relations between China and the Untied States. He welcomed the friends in San Antonio to invest and start business in China. He wished that American friends could actively participate in Shanghai World Expo.
