Foreign Ministry Spokesman Liu Jianchao's Remarks on British Media's Report on the loss of a British Official's Mobile Phone in China

Q: The Sunday Times reported that, during British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's visit to China this January, an official of his entourage lost his blackberry mobile phone in a Chinese intelligence operation. The British Prime Minister's Office had made clarification on the report. Do you have any comment?

A: We have taken note of the clarification made by the British Prime Minister's Office. The relevant report is purely fabricated. We hope that this kind of irresponsible report would never happen again.
