The Chinese Government Welcomes and Appreciates the Material Aids from Foreign Governments Foreign Ministry to Coordinate Receiving Affairs

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Qin Gang announces on May 16:

After the massive earthquake hit China's Sichuan Province on May 12, many countries have offered to provide material aid to the disaster-hit area. The Chinese Government welcomes and expresses its heartfelt gratitude to their kindness. As to the donation from foreign governments and other official organizations, please contact the Foreign Ministry, Chinese embassies and consulates. The message will be converged to the Ministry of Civil Affairs immediately, which will make sure the relief materials received and delivered to the disaster-hit area as early as possible.
